AccelerateHER’s Board Ready Programme gives founders and senior executives the key skills required to actively participate on a Board and to develop self-aware directors for the future. Applications are open for both Founders and Board Members.
Sponsored and delivered by Savendie and Inner Works, and hosted by Burness Paul LLP, the programme comprises a two-day workshop in Edinburgh, a pre-workshop coaching session, and post-workshop action learning group sessions, some featuring guest speakers. This is a holistic programme and participants are asked to commit to the whole programme, if selected.
The two day, in-person workshop will focus on both the technical framework and psychological skills which empower founders and directors to navigate the complex landscape of corporate governance, finance and risk, while fostering positive relationships, driving effective decision-making, and leading the organisation towards its strategic goals. The Programme also supports recognising behaviours to understand the human factors that affect a board, how you impact and play your part in team dynamics and develop independent thinking.
