AccelerateHER is an experienced and impactful organisation, dedciated to female founders. We are a critical part of Scotland's entrepreneurial system.

We exist to accelerate the growth, backing, and visibility of high growth potential female founders in Scotland, moving the dial of investments in their companies ever closer to 50%. 

We provide guidance and support to encourage the growth plans of ambitious female entrepreneurs, building the next generation of female leaders, and providing a network to facilitate stronger business connections.

• £67m investment raised by AccelerateHER Awards Finalists alone: all female founded high IP Science, Tech, Health & Environment companies. Finalists equate to only 5% of award applicants – so the actual impact is higher. 

• £50m investment in highly innovative female founded companies enabled by the £1.9m Invested by our sister organisation Investing Women Angels (IWA). Companies were all supported and introduced by AccelerateHER. 

• 550+ jobs created by these companies – mostly high value, scientific, and tech roles. 

• Increased the volume of investments into female founded companies in Scotland by 700% since 2015.  (2-14% angel investment based on Linc data from 2022.) 

• Increased the level of women angels investing in Scotland by 700% since 2015. (2-14% of angel community. This mirrors the same ‘Echo Effect’ as seen in the USA.)
